Shipping tariffs
Shipping rates can be subject to change and are therefore updated regularly.
*Some restrictions may apply. For a quotation to ship outside of the UK, Europe, and USA please request on your order of requirement and we shall get back to you.
Purchase orders received by 12 noon (GMT) on Thursdays will usually be shipped the following week subject to availability. Upon receipt of your purchase order, we will send a confirmation email to notify you that we have received your purchase order. Specific acknowledgements detailing expected shipment dates will be mailed out separately.
StemCells, Inc and the environment
StemCells, Inc re-uses packaging material whenever possible. In order to provide customers with the convenience of predetermined shipping costs however, it has been necessary to standardise our box sizes for shipments and this will sometimes result in us having to use a new box for your shipment. In the interest of the environment, we encourage end users to reuse and/or recycle the packaging used to ship our products. If your product ever arrives in a less than satisfactory condition, then please do not hesitate to contact us.

Media is shipped frozen on dry ice by our premium couriers (dry ice is replenished if necessary during unexpected delays e.g. customs/traffic/other). If your media does not arrive frozen, we will supply you with free replacements at no cost to yourselves. Please contact us for details of the service and pricing for Premium Shipping. |
Standard |
Media is shipped frozen on dry ice by our standard couriers (dry ice will not be replenished during unexpected delays e.g. customs/traffic/other). We will pack sufficient dry ice to keep the media frozen for the expected duration of the transit, but if there are unexpected delays then the product may begin to thaw. Providing the media arrives to you at less than 4°C, it can be refrozen for long term storage or stored directly at 4°C for use within one month. |
Economy |
Media is shipped frozen without dry ice. Media will begin the journey frozen at -70°C and gradually begin to thaw throughout the journey. The chances of the media remaining somewhat frozen by the time of arrival will depend upon the duration of the journey and the number of bottles in the shipment. This method has been successfully adopted by customers in the past who wish to minimise shipping costs. Providing the media arrives to you at less than 4°C, it can be refrozen for long term storage or stored directly at 4°C for use within one month. |
